THE NEON is more than just a movie theater; it is a community asset that is utilized by numerous grass roots organizations, artists, universities, businesses, and churches. It is a space where diversity is celebrated, civic-minded missions are put into action and where intellectual stimulation is revered. All of this is accomplished through the power of cinema and the discussions that it provokes.
During this COVID-19 pandemic, THE NEON has been hit hard. We had to close our doors for over 3 months in 2020, and our seating capacity has been compromised in an effort to keep patrons safer. In addition, our schedule does not allow for as many screenings per day. Your donation will be greatly appreciated, and it will help us fill the gaps. Many thanks for your generosity.
