Neon Questions
- Where is THE NEON located?
- THE NEON is located at 130 E. 5th Street at the corner of 5th Street and South Patterson Blvd in downtown Dayton - 45402. Click here for a more detailed map.
- Is there parking at your location?
- THE NEON offers free, ground-level parking directly across from the theater on 5th Street. If the lot is full, some on-street parking is available around the theater, and a pay lot is located directly behind us. When crossing 5th Street, please use the designated crosswalk.
- How do I buy tickets?
- Our tickets are available for purchase online via the Tickets page of our website or in person at our box office.
- I can’t find or have not received my confirmation email—what should I do?
- Confirmation emails are sent automatically once your purchase is complete. If you do not receive your email within a few minutes of completion, check your Spam and Junk Mail folders. If you still do not see a confirmation email, please email us (theneon@msn.com) and we'll be happy to help.
- Do I need an account to make a purchase online?
- No. You do not need an account to make a purchase. But we’d love for you to become a member and enjoy all the benefits that come along with a membership at THE NEON!
- What time does the box office open?
- The box office opens 30 minutes prior to the first scheduled show of the day; the box office closes 20 minutes after the start of the last show of the evening.
- What time should I arrive for my movie?
- Except for events specifically selling reserved seating tickets, all shows are General Admission (no reserved seating). We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before showtime to allow for time to purchase a ticket, find a seat, and visit our concession stand. We generally only play 6 to 8 minutes of pre-show trailers.
- How do I log into my Rewards or Membership account (to review my information, view my tickets, etc.)?
- You can click the account icon in the top right of the website (it looks like a little person!) or click here to log in.
- What is the best way to get updates about what's happening at THE NEON?
- For the most complete updates on the latest at THE NEON, sign up for the weekly email newsletter, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram!
- How do I apply for a job at THE NEON?
- Please fill out our online application in order to be considered.
- Do you sell gift cards?
- We do! They made fantastic presents for your friends and family. You can grab one on the Gift Cards page of our website.
- Can I rent the theater out for a private event?
- You can rent our auditoriums for private/public screenings, meetings, and events. For details regarding premiering your work or hosting an event, please email THE NEON manager (theneon@msn.com) to discuss!
- Is THE NEON ADA accessible?
- THE NEON is ADA accessible, and we have designated wheelchair and companion seating. THE NEON has two bathrooms for ticketholders located just beyond the concession area.
- Does THE NEON have assistive-listening devices?
- Yes. THE NEON has these devices available when a film offers this service. Details are posted on the Tickets page of our website for each title.
- How can I tell which films will screen with Closed Captions, Open Captions, and/or Audio Descriptions?
- A film’s accessibility options will be listed on the Tickets page of our website, along with each title and day. Please note that not all films may have these options available. On Mondays, when available, THE NEON screens films with open captions presented on the screen.
- What is your refund policy?
- Most tickets are eligible for a refund up until the day before your screening. If you purchased your ticket on-line, you can request a refund via our website. If you need assistance, please call the box office during our traditional operating hours.
- I couldn’t use my ticket for the date and time I purchased. Can I use it at a future screening?
- Tickets are only valid for the film, date, and screening time the ticket has been purchased for; unused tickets cannot be used for another screening date or time.
- Where can I purchase a membership to THE NEON?
- Visit our Membership page to learn about membership and become a member.
- What does my membership include?
- THE NEON's Basic Membership plan gives you $2 off tickets for all traditional engagements and 10% off at the Concession Stand. You'll also receive a Free Small Popcorn with every 100 points earned and a Free Small Popcorn on your birthday! (Ticket discounts are not available during special events.)
- How many member-priced tickets am I allowed to buy per screening?
- You can only purchase one discounted ticket per screening as a single member. You can purchase two discounted tickets per screening if you have a “+1” membership.
- I’m a member but don’t see the member ticket option on the purchase page.
- To access your member benefits, please log in to your account. The system will automatically offer you member-priced tickets. Not seeing member tickets after logging in or active member benefits on your profile? Please reach out to us via email (theneon@msn.com) for assistance.
- I lost my membership card. How do I get a new one?
- Replacement cards can be issued once per year for $10. Contact TheNeon@msn.com .
- Will there be Q&As for films? Will I need a ticket to access Q&As?
- Check out details for upcoming Q&As and special guest appearances on our events page. Q&A information will also be listed on individual film pages. Q&As can only be viewed by ticket holders.
- How do I submit a film for consideration?
