"This thought-provoking film delves into the complex world of foster care, shedding light on the experiences of children, families, and dedicated professionals involved in the system. Through intimate interviews, personal stories, and an immersive exploration of the foster care process, the film aims to raise awareness, challenge stereotypes, and inspire meaningful change...Atkinson grew up in the Montgomery County foster care system and had her first daughter and instantly became an unmarried teen-aged mother. Because she remembers her own personal struggle, she embarked on a path to make a difference in the lives of teenage moms & families in the foster care system. In 2007, Atkinson founded The Mustard Seed Foundation (TMSF). For over 16 years, Atkinson has won many awards for her work including the WHIO TV Difference Maker Award."
