Cult Movie Night - DINNER IN AMERICA

Victor Bonacore is bringing back his popular "Cult Movie Night" with a more contemporary cult film - DINNER IN AMERICA. "An on-the-lam punk rocker and a young woman obsessed with his band go on an unexpected and epic journey together through the decaying suburbs of the American Midwest. After the original song "Watermelon" went viral on TikTok, audiences in droves are rediscovering this gnarly, punk rock rom-com from Adam Carter Rehmeier (SNACK SHACK) and starring Kyle Gallner (STRANGE DARLING; SMILE 2). In 2020, after critically lauded premieres at Fantasia and Sundance, DINNER IN AMERICA suffered the box-office fate of so many films when Covid-19 shut down theaters. Nearly five years later, the film has been selling out screens across the country from the IFC Center in NY to the Frida Cinema in Santa Ana, CA, capturing the zeitgeist around radical self-acceptance and weirdo love. It's a feel-good romance with an edge. Cult Movie Nite is really excited to bring this film to THE NEON to be viewed the best way possible - with an audience. As always the film will be accompanied by trailers, a short film and other surprises. Join us Thursday, January 16 at 7:30. Tickets are $13 each."PT2HNR2025-01-16Cult Movie Night - DINNER IN AMERICA"Cult Movie Night - DINNER IN AMERICA"
