Victor Bonacore is bringing back Cult Movie Night for a 2nd time in October - the series' favorite month. This one completely sways from the first 2 HALLOWEEN films and takes a much different approach by distancing itself from the Michael Myers character. The idea didn’t last as the 4th one went back to the roots of the original, but this one remains extremely special. A Crazy old man, who owns a mask business called Silver Shamrock Novelties, plots to kill all the children of America through the use of mind control by putting a computer chip in the popular masks, a witch, a skull and a pumpkinhead. A fantastic over the top performance by veteran actor Tom Atkins, a feisty performance by Stacy Nelkin and an always killer score by John Carpenter. This 1982 film is clever, unsettling and ahead of its time. Many fans share the same experience with it, they hated it as a kid, cause there was no Michael Myers, but as we grew up, we discovered the genius of the film and how great it really is.
